Kershaw Blur Tiger Stripe Tactical Knife Review

This is a helluva knife.  Frankly, I’d feel confident wrestling  a grizzly bear with this knife.

This knife ain’t for the faint of heart, she’s all rambunctious and boastful, and can back it up.  She’s loaded to the gills with steel spirit strength and intimidation.  Electrifying and exhilarating lightning speed blade bolts to it’s open position as if you just launched the “GO” button for the Space Mountain Ride at Disney.

The TripleF: Fit, Finish & Functionality  10.0
Kershaw makes super knives and they are well assembled – no question.  Tight.  No wobble.  Excellent piece of cutting gear.  Tough. Durable.  Probably the sharpest knife I delt with yet.

Accessibility – 9.0
Your thumb has to be positioned perfectly on the thumb stud to kick out the blade.  If your thumb is out of alignment it could cause a delay in your opening experience.  Love the tip-up option so the knife doesn’t have to be flipped 180 degrees in the hand.  I also am not a fan of the ware it shows on my thumbnail after opening the knife 30 times in a row.  The thumb solid but a little less abrasion might help.

Collectability – 9.0
Based on the Tiger Stripe DLC coating this may be a winner as far as collectable knives are concerned.  Only time will tell.

Kershaw knives kick ass…..they do!  I highly recommend getting a hold of one of these rascals before they’re gone.  I saw them on the Cabela’s site.

Final Steel Sahlute Score = 9.4 Steel Sahlutes!

Thanks again to the folks at Kershaw who see fit to send me knives to review.
